Michael Danforth is motivated by his devotion to God, family and the rule of law. He and his wife, Dr. Christine Danforth, who serves as the Executive Director of the Jonahre Foundation, are committed to improving the livability of Lake County. A believer in limited government and proactive private assistance, Michael Danforth has spent his adult life engaging the community to improve the quality of life in Lake County.
Michael Danforth has been involved in the social and fiscal conservative movement since he was in college. Before embarking on successful careers in business and the law, Mike was a Republican small government activist while attending Northern Illinois University. While a full time student he was elected to the DeKalb County Board because of his ability to organize and articulate his conservative principals. Mike knows how to get things done, and he’s been doing it for over 30 years.
Michael and Christine are raising their two children, Grace (16) and M.J. (11), in the Barrington community.
